30.05.2026 - yoin Jr's Adventure to Melbourne
For my Siblings birthday, we decided to take a trip to Melbourne. Beautiful places like these really make the cogs in my mind churn and produce a slightly mondo flavoured butter.. Does anyone remember that? Actually, it doesn’t take a lot for me to find a place to be beautiful. Even if you only had an air mattress in your room, I would… Wait, no, you’d have to put in some more effort than that!!
Back on topic, does that mean that Melbourne isn’t really that beautiful? No, it actually is. For one, pretty much every single restaurant or shop that I looked at had some spectacular decor. After a while though, you start to become desensitised to it because every single store is so extravagant, that even a mediocre store actually looks horrendous. As of writing this we still have many places to explore, so hopefully I don’t explode from the aesthetics.
Another thing that happened is that I finally finished the entirety of Golden Kamuy. And I gotta say, damn.. The only way to describe how I feel is ‘happy-dread’. It got me to think about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure even more than I usually do (generally) so I decided to finish this essay of Kakyoin that I had been writing on and off for a few weeks now.
Kakyoin managed to go to a Cat Cafe for the first time in his life. Honestly... It was relaxing but I don't think I'm the type of person equipped for this sort of thing. I don't have the personality to be able to go up to cats and pet them unless they come to me first.. I feel a bit rude doing that (even though thats what your supposed to do) so I ended up just standing around, letting any cat that would spare me a glance sniff Kakyoin. Seriously, I'm jealous of the people who work at that cafe. WHAT do you mean you earn money from letting people play with your cats.... All day... What an amazing job...?!?!? Maybe I should do something like that but with my Kakyoin figure collection. I'll allow people to walk in my room and encourage them to give the unnerving looking Kotobukiya figure a little rub on the head. They can then choose to polish any of them, or simply beckon a plush to come and sit on their lap. Wait, it's a cafe, so you need some drinks, right? Coffee..? You can make your own coffee, damn it! (reference)

Anyways... Have you been any places lately? Even if it's in your town, have you found a nice spot to look at the sunset from? Believe it or not, game development has been going pretty well but I can't say much about what I've been working on yet... The next update will probably be when I attend SMASHcon, or another convention of some kind. It's cosplay season!!!!!!! *looks at asbestos laced neon red wig*
